NATURAL TEXTURES AND SOFT COLORS EASTER TABLE SETTING 2025

Greetings to you this Holy Week!  I've got my Easter table all set and ready for this weekend.  We will be at my Mom's house with extended family on Easter itself, but our immediate family will gather over the weekend so I plan for us to eat dinner together here after our Good Friday service.  This year I used a combination of natural textures and softer Spring colors, but there is still a variety of plenty of color!

To start, I used a pair of rattan lanterns and a trio of fresh flower arrangements for the centerpiece.  The lanterns were from Dillards Southern Living Christmas collection, I picked them up on clearance after the holidays.  I liked the depth that the tortoise glasses added in the mix and thought they paired well with the lanterns and bamboo flatware.

I have a mix of a few different kinds of flowers from Trader Joe's, along with some viburnum and pincushion clippings from the yard.

I used the bow folding technique again like I did for this Thanksgiving table  (see the technique demonstrated here).  The napkins are actually bandanas from Hobby Lobby a few years ago.  I'm not sure if they still have this gingham pattern but if not they have a lot of others to choose from.  They are so economical and easy to care for!

Some time after I got the lanterns I posted them on IG and asked my friends there for ideas for what to put in them other than candles.  One of them actually suggested bunny topiaries for Spring, and I remembered I've had these little rabbit topiaries forever.  I added some faux greenery around the base of them inside the lantern to fill it in.  I haven't used them in several years but couldn't get rid of them, they worked perfectly for these lanterns!

Inspired by my friend Jennifer, I'm trying to add more lambs into my Spring and Easter decor to reflect the true meaning of the season- Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God who gave His life to save us from our sin.  It's hard to find them that aren't too whimsical or juvenile looking, but I found these sweet mini ceramic sets at Hobby Lobby this year.

I loved how these arrangements turned out- they aren't fully bloomed yet and one is peeking out on the edge in this photo but I LOVE the peach garden roses that bloom so fat and full!

Happy Easter!  I hope you and yours have a meaningful, special holiday together!

  5. I absolutely love your style. I keep the lambs from all of my nativities in a drawer and use them at Easter. They get double duty.

  7. I just love your style....so many pieces that have such great meaning...and I was surprised by the subdued colors but again..it all works beautifully. The best part? The family gathered to celebrate Easter together. Enjoy both days of celebrating. Thank you for sharing and for all the extra details you share.

Can you please link the faux bamboo flatware again? It links to the plaid napkins. Thank you.
