FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Hello everyone, happy Friday!  Time gets away from me, it's been a bit since I've shared a Five Friday Favorites list with you but I have some good ones today!  I'm currently sitting in a waiting room while my Mom has surgery to repair a torn meniscus... my sisters and I are about to be on nurse duty for the near future!  In between caretaking we're also squeezing in a trip to the OKC Arts Festival this weekend where my niece has an exhibit of her paintings.  We're so excited for her- if you're local and are going, look for Evie Griffin's booth! OK, on to this week's favorites!

I'm loving this mix of pink and red tulips!  I think they are incredibly realistic and I've found about 5 places around my house that I want to use this arrangement... ha! 

I peeled the petals apart and bent them on just a few stems to make them look more realistic.  The two bunches that I bought gave me this big arrangement and about 10 stems left over that I put together in a smaller vase.  

This $20 heart necklace is a winner!  The length is great and the toggle clasp in front is a nice detail. 

I was curious about the finishes so I ordered both the shiny gold and the matte gold.  They were both nice and worth the price, but the matte gold felt slightly more substantial and looked a little more expensive in my opinion.  

I can't believe it's already here but Emily is graduating from college in a few weeks!  Last week we did some senior photos around campus.  I've been wearing this striped dress often! It is an easy fit, I'm wearing a M and it's comfortably roomy.  It's 100% cotton, has pockets, and comes in several colors.  Easy to throw on and go and would double as a great cover up too. 

Psst... Emily's cute sweater is great quality and marked down to $9.50! Several other colors around that price too.  Also, she loves the rick rack dress I'm holding so much she wanted the blue color as well and it's darling!

I've also been loving this t-shirt maxi striped dress.  I'm 5'7" and it's very long with side slits.  So comfy and several colors available.  There's also a short version here that's great too!
