FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

I haven't shared Five Friday Favorites with you in a while so this one is a doozy and packed full of good things! If you're newer here, 99.9% of the time I make these lists up of things that I personally have and love and am confident recommending to you! It's always a random list and I hope it's helpful and you find some good things you'll love too.  So here we go!

1) I shared this photo in yesterday's Valentine's Day Porch post.  This leggings + button up + sweatshirt combo is my standard  winter "uniform" several days each week when I'm working around the house or just running errands.  I needed some new winter warm leggings this year and have tried out several... there are 3 different ones that I ended up loving!  My basic requirements were I wanted pockets on the leg for my phone, a smooth buttery fabric that wouldn't attract fuzz, cat hair, etc., and as streamlined as possible with no crazy seams.  I found all three to be true to size, I got a M in each one.

First up, I would consider this red pair to be in the middle of the 3 I'm sharing as far as thickness/warmth goes.  There's just a nice, not too thin but not bulky at all soft fleecy lining on the inside.  They have two straight seams on the outside of each leg for the pocket, but they are straight and didn't bother me as much as others I looked at. Great fabric, nice fit, and these also come in a wide variety of colors. I branched out from all of the black leggings I have and bought the red and the hot pink- good decision!!  😍

The second pair I liked are also lined but the thinnest lining of the three. Still warmer than regular legging though and not bulky at all.  I don't have a great pic but here's a screen shot from my Instagram Reel that I shared for the porch.  However, I like the design of these the best of the 3.  Except for around the pocket there are no outside leg seams and the fabric is super buttery soft.  I've never had navy leggings and have worn that color more than I expected to.  I just noticed they are now on clearance, so good timing for you!

They aren't messing around with the lining on the third pair I liked... ha!  They are thick with a full on fleece liner.  These have been awesome on our really cold days!  I don't have a photo wearing these but here's the link! Even though they are decidedly thicker than the others I didn't feel like the Michelin Man in them like I have in some...  🤣

2) I recently made an overdue upgrade for my phone which as you know requires new accessories.  I had a Loopy case before which I loved, but the loop hindered being able to use a wireless magnetic charger and I didn't like that it never laid flat.  I'm really liking this this tortoise print case and there are so many other cute ones on their site!  I did find this elastic strap as an alternative to the Loopy- I can fit a finger or a few through it and it makes it easier (and more secure) to hold my phone, and doesn't interfere with mag charging.  So far I'm liking it!  All of that is an aside to my actual second favorite this week... these custom vinyl monograms!  I also had these on my old phone case, and reordered the exact set for my new case.  The 2 1/2" fit my 13 Pro and now 16 Pro case perfectly, but check with the seller if you're unsure of size (she's awesome!) or you might need to go a bit smaller if your initials are wider letters than mine.

My exact colors are red and flamingo pink, and I've ordered that combo multiple times!  As a fun little Christmas gift, I bought some of these acrylic lap desks from the clearance dollar spot at Target last fall and then bought several monograms for the girls in the family that use computers.  (Thanks to my friend Julie for this idea I saw in the past!)

I also got this cute scallop monogram for the front of my planner... it was a little too plain without it- ha!

3) My friend Meredith shared this Bow Sweater on IG last week and I immediately scooped one up!  It's soft, beautifully woven, and a nice weight... so good!  I sized up for a roomier fit, it's pretty fitted otherwise.

SALE TIP:  I try to share this often, but as I shop/share so many sale or clearance items that might be low on stock here's a reminder... if the size that you want is sold out, check back later!  Often first thing in the morning, sizes that are returned or available for whatever reason are restocked online.  I can't tell you how many markdowns I've watched each morning and snagged my size when it pops up.  Also, if there's a "notify me if back in stock" option do that too!

Lots of great sale picks here- I have several of these and love!  I ordered the red coat- sized up but don't think I should have so I reordered a smaller size yesterday.  I also got this gold metallic sweater- it's almost like painted/coated on the outside  but soft inside, I think it's funky and will be fun to wear!  It's very wide but I preferred staying true to size for shoulder area.  I also picked up the gold metallic kick crop jeans, my favorite silhouette from Loft!

4)  I've shown these pillow covers here and there since I got them a few months ago but they haven't been on my favorites list... now they are!  I've mixed them for Fall, Christmas, and now Spring and just love them.  The quality is incredible with hidden zippers on the back (these are my favorite down inserts and these are a good down alternative option) and I'm totally smitten with the ruffle edge!  My friend who designs and sells these also has some gorgeous new styles for Spring, check out her shop here

5)  This is a big combo of several great Walmart pieces I've bought lately.  First up, these loafers.  The buckle is fantastic and they are probably the most comfortable pair of flats in my closet- the soles have very nice padding and there's even a built in pad on the heel.  After I tried these on I immediate told Emily she needed a pair for her business casual wardrobe, she got the darling olive green.

These heart pjs are too cute!  This is the best brand for pjs from WM, it never disappoints.  I like that these are sold separately in case you need a different size top and bottom, and there are some matching pieces if you have little ones, too!

Speaking of the best WM pjs, I've never shared these with you all.  I've had several sets of this style- shorts style and long pants style- for months and they are fantastic.  They're a nice cotton/poly mix, very soft, easy care, bravo!!  I'd say they are true to size buy maybe size up if you're in between or like your pjs roomy. Super cute colors and patterns too, I have the blue stripe, blue floral, pink floral, and got Emily the multi colored stripes for Christmas.  You can't beat the price!

(Linking those faves and a few more from the brand below- scroll left and right with arrows and these photos are clickable.  I needed a new warm robe and just got the cute pink one!)

Lastly on the WM front, there are so many great pieces on sale/clearance right now.  Emily had just mentioned to me recently that she wanted a "sweater with gold buttons", and I remembered one of the better WM brands has a nice one. I would recommend sizing up unless you want a very tailored fit.  They are under $20, the fabric is very soft, and there are several colors available.  So pleased with them and can't wait to get these to her!

Here are a few other highly rated clearance bargains I rounded up- most are around $10, I don't think anything here is more than $20.  A few standouts that are still pretty well stocked- Several colors of this 5 Star jacket are $12-14, this black blazer is $10, and the cute plaid puffers are $12-15 depending on color.

That's it for this week, have a wonderful weekend!
