2024 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR || LIVING ROOM AND CHRISTMAS TREE

Merry Christmas, friends!  I'm so happy to be sharing this year's Christmas Living Room and Christmas Tree tour with you today.  Are you still hustling and bustling?  If so, I'm right there with you! We'll start with the first of our Christmas celebrations tomorrow and continue through the week with various family gatherings. I hope even in the midst of the busy-ness you're able to have some quiet moments here and there to truly enjoy the season and reflect on our Savior's birth.  I always say we're celebrating the biggest birthday of them all, so I want my Christmas home to reflect the happiness and cheer of the good news that Jesus is born!

Today's tour almost didn't happen and I apologize for the lateness of the post.  I intended to be sharing this with you last week but has some technical difficulties!  I told you that I worked to get all of my photos taken before we left on a short little Christmas trip.  I intended finish up my editing and post on the trip... and then I broke my computer screen. 😭😭 All of the photos were in my computer- I just couldn't see them to do anything and we were away from home so couldn't really fix anything.  Anyway- I'll spare you the longer details but it's been a challenge to get everything together and posted. I know I'm not including all of the photos I wanted to share, but you'll get the gist and I hope you enjoy what I was able to cobble together! 😆

I usually have one feature element planned for the tree (see them here- disco balls, giant stars, honeycomb balls, tissue paper flowers, pink lanterns), but this year I really didn't- I just started decorating and waited to see how it turned out.  I got some new fantastic light pink ribbon this year that I knew I wanted to use, and I'm pleased with how it turned out in a mix of pink and red bows.

Do you remember the viral nutcrackers I traveled the state of Oklahoma to get last year?  They were red and I intended to have them painted this year.  The primer was as far as I got, so I sprayed a quick coat of glossy white over that and called them good for this year.  More colorful paint will be a good project this summer!

I put all of our nativities and kids' Sunday School crafts on these shelves this year, so many sweet memories in those pieces!

As as I mentioned, I know we're all busy today so that's about all the talking I'll do.  I'll just let you scroll and enjoy!  Later this week I'll edit this post and add some details and more sources for you.

Thank you for touring today, I hope my colorful Christmas decorations brought a smile to your face this season!  I'll have one more family Merry Christmas post, but if I miss you there I hope your and yours have the Merriest Christmas!  Thank you for being a part of our lives by faithfully reading and for your kind support!  Our love to you all this Christmas! 💚
