Hello friends! I'm publishing this post late Sunday afternoon even though I didn't change the title of Five Friday Favorites... busy few days and even though I'm not on time I still wanted to share some great things with you this weekend! I hope you've had a great one, the weather could not have been more perfect in OKC and it finally feels like Fall! So, let's get to the goods...
My daughter in law told me about this sweatshirt and I love it so much that this is my second color to buy. I bought the green and navy stripes with yellow trim for my alma mater colors, but also fell in love with this pink and orange option. So fun for team colors or just pick your favorite color combo! It's a look for less of a pricier Free People sweatshirt, and I can't imagine how the real thing could be any better.
I haven't mentioned it here yet but we recently took a last minute trip to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago- you might have recognized from photo above if you've been to the Big Island! More on that in the future, but this tripod was one of the MVPs of our trip! With what I do I've tried out quite a few, and this one is by far my favorite phone tripod so far. It reaches 67" tall, more than most to give more angle and framing options. Phone camera can be turned to portrait or landscape, and there is a rechargeable bluetooth remote that stores in the base that makes it so easy to snap your own photos (used it for both photos above!). And, when folded up it's a sleek completely smooth tube so there are no exposed legs or pieces to get snagged on things in your bag. Super lightweight and easy to throw in a backpack or just keep around for those upcoming family holiday photos so no one gets left out to taking the photo. The spray cans of olive or avocado oil are so convenient but pretty pricey when you consider the amount those cans contain, not to mention the waste. I got this refillable oil sprayer about a month ago and it is the best! I had another one in the past and I didn't like the spray pattern, but this sprays a nice steady mist on my pan or food. And the little trigger handle rather than a pump makes it so much easier. The top also flips open if you want to pour instead of spray, and it has a large capacity. For less than $8 I think you would love this in your kitchen too or it would be a fantastic little gift, it's obviously time to refill mine!
I don't shop there regularly but came across these leopard pants from Loft lately and had to try them! The verdict is... I LOVE them! I know these will stay in my closet for many years to come. They are slightly cropped and zip at the side so they are nice and smooth. I think they are true to size (I got an 8) which were a tad tight but they stretched out just right as I wore them. My only negative is that they don't have pockets in the front, but I can live with that! (PS- anyone else go to the Big Boo Cast live show in Dallas? Good times! If you don't listen to the podcast it's lots of fun!)

Hopping online to order the leopard pants sent me into a spiral, I spotted this sweater and had to have it. I can think of so many ways to mix and match this camel+red+pink color combo, I'll be wearing this one often this Fall and Winter. I think it runs a little large from tops I've tried at Loft in the past- I sized up to a L as I usually do for Loft but I think I would prefer a M, just depends on the fit you want.

I haven't had time to get though what I received yet from my order but I also got this metallic tshirt which I thought might be nice for layering through the holidays (I would size up- maybe even 2 sizes- unless you want it very fitted). and I liked the camel sweater so much I just ordered this fair isle one too. Oh, and these hot pink cropped pants are under $30 and very comfortable! I think they can totally be worn with booties or sneakers for quite a while still this Fall, and definitely once Spring and Summer are here. Sizes are getting limited in pink but there are two other colors well stocked.

Lots of fun items you shared. I just ordered the leopard pants. 😊. Question for you in one of your kitchen vignettes - how did you put flowers into the top of the blue and white chinoiserie dog salt and pepper shakers? Thanks, Robin
ReplyDeleteHi Robin, they are actually little bud vases so they have the perfect hole in the top!
DeleteOh, ok. Thanks for the information. I actually have those same dogs but they are salt and pepper shakers. :-)
DeleteHow cute!
DeleteI do love the leopard pants and the pink sweater at the end. Very nice.
