FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Hello friends, happy Friday!  We are scurrying around today taking care of a variety of things but excited to pop over to Stillwater to see Emily later today too.  We've also been cat sitting Ollie while Caleb and Kenzi have been on their first anniversary trip.  Even as empty nesters there's never a dull moment around here!  I'm sure many of you can relate.  😂  I'm excited to share some this week's Five Friday Favorites with you, so let's get to it!

I recently spotted this book while traveling and it reminded me that I wanted to read it last year for Advent but discovered it too late and it was sold out everywhere.  I'm glad I was reminded to snag it now!  It's a gorgeous hardcover 25 day devotional for the Christmas season, Ruth Chou Simons has written (and illustrated beautifully!) some really good books. It's such a great price you might want a few for gifts, too... give them early so they can join you in reading for Advent!

Speaking of Christmas, if you missed it be sure to check out the adorable new Christmas decorations that I posted earlier this week

This cotton flag sweater is back in stock!  It sold out in a flash last Spring and what better time to wear it than over the next month?  It comes in two colors, a variety of sizes- regular, tall, and petite.  It's a good one! I preferred a tall for the extra length and got a large, but I also got some for Kenzi and Emily who both preferred the regular length in a size up so it would be a little roomy.

I've been on a bit of a sneaker binge lately!  I've mentioned in the past that I've been having some foot pain, so I've had to be more careful and choose more cushioned and supportive shoes.  These three have been extremely comfortable- and fun to wear!

These gold platform sneakers are good to wear with just about anything.  We went to see The Forge, did you see it?  Encouraging, inspiring faith based movie! I'll mention this dress too- I know we're all loading up our carts with sweaters but we are still having strings of 90 degree days here in OKC... ridiculous! This dress is super light weight and has pockets, I really love it.  It runs very large (which is the style) but I sized down to an XS here, a S would have been fine as well, just a little more roomy.  I will say, the side slits come several inches above my knee... just so you know!  The tan color is an extra 50% off the marked price with limited sizes left, also available in black at a sale but not clearance price.

(If you check out the dress, while you're there this is a good one too that's an extra 50% off at checkout. The white is the only one lined and the lining is fitted so I'd stick with your normal size. I thought the white fabric was still a little too thin for my liking and didn't like seeing the lining through it.  Love the other colors though and you could probably size down if you don't want so much volume.)

Gold Sneakers (White available here)

A few weekends ago we were able to go to an OSU football game with our girl.  Well... not actually WITH her, we were both in the stadium but of course she was sitting in the student section.  😂  It was extremely hot and I grabbed the biggest, loosest dress I had that was the right color and threw these white and tan sneakers on with it since I knew we would be doing a lot of walking.  The game didn't go our way that day but still fun to be there!
White Oxford Sneakers (also available here)

I've worn these leopard sneakers several times since I got them but have neglected to snap a photo.  But aren't they so cute?  And red is huge this Fall, loving the pop of it with the leopard!

These cane boxes are on a really good deal right now, the lowest price I've ever seen them!  These make fantastic wedding gifts to stock up on.  I gave a set to Kenzi for an engagement present and I think she's keeping special cards and wedding mementos in them.  I have the same set but in the rectangular shape (which is currently double the price of the square set!) and I use mine for special cards and notes too.  They are really good quality and a generous size- great for the coffee table, shelf styling, or mementos.

I shared a sponsored post on Instagram yesterday and wanted to show these cute pieces to you all as well, they all come is a pretty wide variety of sizes.  This is my favorite time of year when it starts getting chilly and we can wear layers!!  This faux leather jacket is buttery soft and seems way more expensive than it's clearance price, I'm wearing a sz. L.  The thick denim/twill field jacket comes in two colors and is so versatile, I'm wearing a sz. M.  I'm wearing bootcut jeans in all of these photos that are high waisted, have some stretch, come in multiple colors and are under $25!

This faux fur jacket is so nice and will be perfect for the holidays, church, date night... dress it up or dress it down!  It has a snap closure and runs large- I'm wearing a small but might have even preferred and XS.  This soft bow sweater is under $17!  It's cropped juniors sizing so I'm wearing an XL for the length and fit I wanted.

This quilted vest is fantastic!  Sorry to say that this color sold out before I could share, but there are a few others available.  It looks cute belted or open.  Runs large- I'm wearing a M and am happy with the fit but could totally have done a S that would have been a little more fitted.

I've saved all of these looks on my LTK page here,  I'd love for you to follow me there if you don't already!  So easy to find much of what I share all in one spot!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  Don't forget about this yummy treat perfect to munch on while  watching football!
