FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday!  It's been a while since I've shared my Five Friday Favorites, so I'm excited to show you these things today.  I think you'll love them as much as I do! 

Several weeks ago my sisters, Mom and I spent the weekend in NW Arkansas.  October marked what would have been my Dad's 80th birthday and their 54th Anniversary and they always spend some time in Eureka Springs every year around that time.  So this year we went together, rented a cabin, and made some day trips to nearby towns.  There is so much to do in that area and it's always beautiful. 

We all loved these cozy PJs/lounge sets. They come in 7 colors and are very soft, the SET is under $20!  Some of us bought our regular size and some preferred sizing up for a more oversized fit.  I have a friend on IG that bought the set and dressed it up with jewelry to wear out, it was darling!

I've found a couple of new sweaters this season that I love!  This striped one comes in several different colors.  It's soft and a nice weight without being too bulky.  My regular size M still gave plenty of room, and it's long enough in front and back to wear with leggings.  I love this coffee color for Fall, but got the green stripe too and it's also fantastic.

I'm also loving this Pink Sweater!  It comes in a large variety of colors, and the hem in back is a little longer than the front.  It's warm without being heavy or super thick, just right to layer!  I also preferred my regular size M in this one, and liked it so much after wearing that I've since bought the Apricot (really a creamy color) and Dark Green colors as well.

This is random, but I'm sharing a can opener that I love!  I prefer a small manual can opener that I can put in a drawer rather than an electric one on the counter.  And, I know a lot of people love the ones that lock on and automatically cut around the outside edge, but I don't for whatever reason.  I'll stick to the oldie but goodie!  This one is very smooth to turn, operates well without skipping, and has a slimmer profile than some with a giant handle while still being substantial enough to easily operate. If you're in the market I think you'll like it! 

Can Opener

Finally today, I bought a couple of new crossbody bags when we were supposed to be going to Israel.  Instead we went to spend some time in the mountains but I still used my new bags and really liked them!  The sling style a nice alternative to the "belt bag/fanny pack" style.  They are fairly small but really do hold a lot!  I usually had a few credit cards and cash, gum, sunglasses and regular glasses, my phone, lipstick and pen, and still had room for a few other little things.  I got two slightly different styles and liked them both, they would both hold about the same amount.  The strap is adjustable and can switch to the left or right depending on which side you want to carry the bag on. The black one does have an open exterior pocket on the back that was nice to quickly slip my phone in and out of, but that's really the only slight advantage to that one I can think of.
