Hello everyone, and welcome to Part 2 of this year's Christmas Home Tour! Today I'm sharing my Front Porch and Entry with you. It's been really cloudy, moist, and rainy here in Oklahoma but it sure is starting to feel festive for the season around here anyway. Settle in and enjoy the tour today!
I'm so excited to be participating in the 2022 Christmas Home Tour today hosted by Marty from
A Stroll Thru Life. If you are visiting from
Eleanor Rose Home I'm so glad you're here! Heidi's tour charmed my socks off... so cozy and inviting!
Let's start off on the porch today. It has looked similar for the past few years but I changed a few of the colors and the ribbons this year, and pulled an old sled out of the attic. (*I'm still working on adding more details and sources for this tour but wanted to go ahead and get it posted. Please check back shortly if you have questions or feel free to leave on in the comments!)
I'm totally smitten with these big satin bows and am using them everywhere this year. Guest what? They are actually table runners! I recently started following
Grace Harris Collection on IG and she shared this trick a while back. Packaged by the dozen they come out at well under $2 each, or around .50 per yard compared to ribbon, and these are 12" wide! I'm using a
red pack and a
"rose gold" pack here... I tried a few different pinks and the others were too bubble-gum. This is the perfect soft pink. I'm also using
navy and
this green inside the house.
Now, come on inside and take a look at our Entryway!

I am so inspired by your post to add more color to our home Jennifer! I love how you are able to take bright vibrant colors and make them work together cohesively. Your porch and entryway are stunning! So happy to be touring with you, Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is Heidi from Eleanor Rose Home by the way!
DeleteEverything looks fantastic! Your front door decor is so fun! Pinned.
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to your Christmas decor, so full of color and fun surprises. Your porch is my all time favorite the way you always decorate it for Christmas. The two trees flanking the door and that amazing garland you add around the door are stunning. Actually works of art. I always take note of how full and fluffed your garland is and how you weave ornaments and ribbons to create such a statement piece. The entry is equally pretty with your stunning vignette on the dresser. Every detail is always well thought out. Thanks so much for joining the tour again this season, your home is truly a favorite.
ReplyDeleteWow, to be greeted by that porch would be magical! I love all the color and detail; right down to the green and white mat. It's a virtual Disney World of fun. So glad to have hopped with you. You make me love color. And that's quite a leap!
ReplyDeleteYour entry is absolutely stunning. Your colorful home always delights my heart. It is a joy to be on tour with you!
ReplyDeleteYour home is gorgeous and I always look forward to seeing all your happy colors! Your porch is the perfect "welcome" for your festive home!

The porch and entry are stunning as usual! Your decorating never disappoints but always inspires me and I always look forward to your posts to see what you have done. Where is the table top tree from in the foyer on your buffet? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThis is Robin Alley, one of your long time followers. :)
DeleteHi Robin! There's a link for the tree under the photo that's a close up of tree. I got two of them last year and they are really great little trees! Thanks so much for being here today!
DeleteGorgeous, simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI so love the way you use color in your house. December can be dreary in Michigan, unless we get snow, but your posts always chase away the blues. Thank you for sharing.
DeleteAs Marty said above -- A true work of art! Love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Miche! Thanks so much, hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
