Per my usual, I went through my stash and worked with what I had to set the table. I've picked up a few new things this year like the black and white dot dishes and some of these Christmas decorations which have been nice to have a more options for all of the mixing and matching that goes on around here!
My Mom gave me her set of Spode dishes several years ago and I enjoy setting them out each year. I'm hosting a party tonight and we'll definitely be using them!
I used two pink poinsettias as a start for my centerpiece on top of a strip of green and white geometric fabric acting as a runner. I bought it a while back to use to make new pillows for the patio next Summer and it came in handy as a table runner in the meantime.
I added some of my glass trees in the center
The vintage chandelier got all dressed up too with some Shiny Brite ornaments tied on.
And, the wall sconces even got in on the fun! I tied on my jumbo clear confetti ornament then tied on a cluster of honeycomb balls before adding the bow to top it all off. No surprise, I love the splash of color it adds on that wall.
So there you have it! I'm looking forward to hosting our Minister's Wives for our party tonight, we're doing a favorite things exchange. I'm excited to have those seats filled with my friends tonight! At the beginning of this post I said that this is the last part of my tour. I have some other bits and pieces around the house that I haven't shared, I might compile all of those into a quick post next week if I have time. I still have the majority of my shopping to do! 😬 I hope you enjoy your weekend... EIGHT DAYS!!! 🎄
