Happy First Day of Fall! Yesterday we finally got some cooler weather, yay! We'll thoroughly enjoy it although it will be short lived, our forecast is back in the 90s next week... boo! It's no fun to decorate for Fall when you're sweating. 😂 Last week I was prepping dinner and was reminded of this simple Pork Marinade recipe that a friend shared with me over 20 years ago. I've been using it often again lately and it's so easy and delicious, I thought you might like it too. The original recipe states it's for a pork tenderloin, but it is very versatile and I've also used it for pork roasts and pork chops... any cut will do!
Here's what you'll need:

PORK MARINADE INGREDIENTS-
1/2 c. Allegro Original Marinade
1/4 c. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 c. Jalapeno Juice
2 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
2 Tbsp. ish Coconut Aminos, optional (not in original recipe but I've been adding it and it makes it even tastier and gives the slightest hint of sweetness)
Mix all ingredients in a large ziploc back. Add pork and marinate in refrigerator for a few hours up to overnight. Remove from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature about 30 minutes before grilling.
One note- now that just the two of us are home most of the time, if I'm making 2 pork chops I half the recipe. It's still plenty of marinade and cuts down on wasting any extra. The original recipe is enough for a pork tenderloin or even a pork roast (a larger piece may need to marinate for a longer time period, more like overnight). I try to flip the bag over periodically in the fridge to make sure all sides are eventually soaking in the marinade.
I'll begin sharing Fall content and this year's tours with you next week, but in the meantime here's a little refresher from past tours if you're ready to start your decorating and looking for some ideas now.
