Happy Friday! Whew, has this week been Christmas Tour overload or what? I hope that you've enjoyed the festivities and have gleaned a few great ideas for your holiday home! Today I'm sharing the final portion of my Christmas Home Tour, let me show you around the Front Porch, Entry, Breakfast Nook, and our Patio! I'm happy to be a part of the Christmas Home Tours organized by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life. She always does such a good job of gathering a stellar group of bloggers to share with you and I'm honored to be a part!
If you're coming from Decorating Delirium, welcome! Jennifer is a kindred spirit with her love of color, blue and white, chinoiserie pieces, a thrifted find and a good DIY project. I'm excited to see her tour today, be sure to check it out with me. But first, stay for a minute and come on in!

A few weeks ago I shared a preliminary look at my front porch, but I've since added the flocked trees in the urns to the front of the porch so I wanted to share it again.
In my previous post I shared how I make these ornament clusters to add to garland and wreaths, they're so quick and easy!
I usually fill my lanterns with ornaments in my color palette for the year, but this year I put some tinsel trees inside.
Lantern Set (Amazing Sale Price!)
4' Flocked Tree || Black Urn (gold paint DIY) || Door Handleset ||
Door Color- SW Dignity Blue
I started with this mat a few weeks ago which I absolutely love...
Gingham Rug || Red Rug- At Home || Leopard Booties
but then came across this $9 rug last week and it couldn't be more perfect for my porch! (I moved the cute red one to the patio.)
Alright, why don't you come on in out of the cold?
Come right on in to the Entry!
I've used these paper party fans (HL, Target, and Party Galaxy) and stars (Ikea) for several years now in my Christmas decor but always change them up a little bit, I just don't get tired of them! I think they're appropriate since we're celebrating the most important birthday of all this season... Jesus!
Faux Olive Wreath- At Home or here
The dresser has a collection of various trees from over the years and nutcrackers.
Hungry? Come have a seat in the Breakfast Nook for a snack! I kept this table simple because it's a hard worker in our home. It's the homework, project, work, and meal spot so most often it's covered with paraphernalia!
Although we do use it so much, I still like to keep some sort of centerpiece on the table. I just found this elongated gold pedestal bowl and it's absolutely perfect! It doesn't take up too much space yet the shape fills the center of the table, so we can leave it there during meals or while working and it's not in the way. I can picture it filled with lots of other things through the year after the ornaments get packed up.
This little tree holds a Nativity ornament set. They seem to get lost on our big tree so I like how they get all of the attention here.
Every year I switch out the prints from what is usually a botanical gallery wall to these 12 Days of Christmas prints and framed Advent Scripture Memory Cards.
Lastly, let's step outside to the patio! I didn't do much out here, just dressed up the fireplace a bit since we can see it out the kitchen window.
I usually have small succulents in these bowls across the mantle, but I totally forgot about them recently when the temperatures dipped below freezing and they didn't make it. Rats! I'd kept them alive for several years! :( Oh well... now they're filled with colorful mini ornaments.
Mirror Ball Lighted Garland || Similar Blue and White Bowl || Disco Ball
We are still able to use our patio through the winter except on the coldest of days, so it's nice to have a little nod to the season out here as well.

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Ellen!
DeleteJennifer I have been enjoying your tours all week long. Everything is so merry and bright! I adore the felt nativity ornaments. So happy to be on this tour with you!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Those ornaments are special- a lady in one of our former churches was a missionary in Thailand and started having the ladies there make them. They're precious!
DeleteAs always, I love all the color! My favorite element is your front door garland with the mix of bright colors plus black & white.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm so happy with the black and white mixed in with the color this year! Merry Christmas, Hollie!
DeleteYour front entry is beyond "Merry and Bright" Jennifer. I also adore your back patio. I may have to pick up some of those topiaries next time I am at Ikea. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the tours of your home, especially Christmas. I have to say my most favorite part of the entire tour was the little tree in your breakfast nook with the nativity ornaments. It was so precious and symbolizes the reason for the season so well. I'm glad you gave them their own little tree to shine.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! You do color so beautifully and your front porch is just magical - especially at night! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteNobody does color as beautifully as you. always so fun to come and visit your fun and festive home. Happy holidays and merry Christmas!
