I typically don't do much decorating for Halloween, but when Ariel from PMQ for Two invited me to create a Halloween Tablescape along with some other talented ladies, I couldn't say no! True to my style, I filled my table with a variety of mix and match patterns, sticking to a traditional Halloween color palette.
I pulled tons of black and white parts and pieces from around my house. Even though there are many different patterns, the consistent black and white unifies everything.
I gave a nod to the holiday with these cute clip-on spiders and attached them to a simple gold napkin ring I already had.
The zinnias in my flower bed are still going strong, so I snipped a few to add in one pop of orange.
The candlelight glow is perfect for these dark, cozy evenings.
I think this little black and white table fits in so well with my house, I might just remove the spiders and switch the flowers, and keep it going well past Halloween! I can make black and white work for any season. ;) Thanks so much for stopping by to see my table today!

This is just gorgeous, so rich and chic - well done!! I absolutely love everything you do! I think what I love about this is that it's subtle Halloween, not in your face crazy, you know? I adore this!

ReplyDeleteThis table is too cute for words! I love the black and white theme and those spider napkin ring holders are friggin adorable (I may need to borrow that idea). I love this type of play on halloween.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Love the table setting. It is so YOU!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you have the best everything! The black and white, the gold, and those flowers! Uh! it's perfection. I have pinned the heck out of this. Thanks for joining me in the hop friend!

ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful Jennifer! Love the black and white with the pop of orange!
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done as well! Wish we were neighbors to feed off of each other! ha When you comment about your table runner being a piece of fabric, on my dining room sideboard I took large black/white polka dot wrapping paper and covered the top. Girl, you wouldn't know it unless you're on top of it and guess what? LOVE THE LOOK!
ReplyDeleteJennifer this is super chic! Beautiful boldness and glam elements to create a stunning eclectic mix!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness!!! We don't do Halloween here but I am loving all the black & white patterns together, and with the pop of orange ... so gorgeous! This may be one of your best tablescapes yet IMHO. And with the settee (is that what its called?) & the throw pillows ... I just love love love it all!
ReplyDeleteWell this is the way to do orange and black! What a beautiful table and it looks so great with your botanical/specimen art. Super chic and classy and the spider napkin rings are darling.
