The Fall round of the One Room Challenge kicked off this week.  After finishing our Powder Bath for the Spring edition, I'm sitting this one out, but can't wait to watch everyone else scramble to have a beautiful makeover done in 6 weeks.  Follow along with the featured designers here and hundreds of guest participants here.

John and Sherry (aka Young House Love) just published the ultimate coloring book for design lovers.  Color At Home is full of blank black and white home-themed pages for you to color until your heart's content! (affiliate link)

A note for local OKC readers- I wanted to mention a few upcoming events at our church that you might be interested in.  (1) Big Daddy Weave is in concert at our church this Sunday night (Oct. 9). Go here for ticket information if you're interested, and stop by and see me at the merchandise table the night of the concert!  (2) Every Fall we have a HUGE jewelry sale with thousands of pieces from India, with all proceeds going to support our missionaries.  This year it will be held on Oct. 22 from 10-6.  Follow the Facebook page here for more details and examples of what will be for sale, these are GOOD pieces, and I think everything is usually under $12 (with many, many things closer to $5).  It's a great place to knock out a lot of your Christmas shopping! (3) A Christmas Gathering ladies event will be held on November 10.  The speaker focuses on simple ways to show hospitality and ideas to decorate your home for the holidays.  This event is held in multiple locations each year, and sells out quickly!  I promise you'll enjoy the evening and everyone goes home with several gifts (Oprah style!).  Go here for more details and to purchase tickets online.
