Hey friends, we had the busiest weekend... hosted a fantastic group of middle school girls overnight during a girls' retreat at church, then turned the house around after they left to host a baby shower yesterday. Whew! And, in the midst of all of it, the guys were here last week to do the fireplace on the patio, which they finished late Saturday. Yippee! I'll definitely be showing you an update this week before a grand reveal sometime in the near future.
All that to say, I didn't have a lot of time for blog work over the weekend, but I wanted to pop in today to let you know that my Home Depot Style Challenge project went live over the weekend!
I was thrilled and honored to be invited to participate in the Holiday Style Challenge, after creating my not-so-spooky forest Halloween mantle for the Style Challenge last Fall. This time, I was assigned the task of sprucing up my mailbox for the holidays...
I hope you pop over to the Home Depot blog and read the entire post, I'd love to know what you think!
Later in the week I'll be back to share the full DIY tutorial with you of how I created these trees with the supplies that I received in my Home Depot Mystery Box.
Do you decorate your mailbox for Christmas? I hope you gather a bit of inspiration for the rapidly approaching holidays. My busy-ness continues through tomorrow evening when our church has our Women's Christmas Gathering event which I'm helping decorate for. I'm off... I have a date with a chainsaw and some tree stumps to cut 50+ wood slices to use on the tables... wish me luck!
