VINTAGE SWAP WITH THE PINK CLUTCH
Hello all! Did everyone have a fun and festive holiday weekend? We certainly did! My son marched in his first parade with the high school band (he's on the drum line) and we all enjoyed being with family. We even bucked the system and had Indian Tacos rather than hamburgers and hot dogs. Yum!
A few weeks ago, my friend Paige at The Pink Clutch posted an open invite for anyone who wanted to participate in a swap of vintage items. I had never been a part of a blogger swap, and I thought it would be fun. She paired up everyone who was interested, and we were to shop for goodies that we thought our partner would love. Paige herself ended up being my partner (no pressure!), but our tastes are so similar that I had a blast shopping for her. Hop over to her blog today to see what she received from me!
I received my happy mail from Paige yesterday, and my entire family benefitted from the goodies! What to see what my darling package contained?
6 vintage soda glasses, 4 blue and white patterned cloth napkins, and vintage Bingo cards... a fun family night in a box!
The napkins were added to the dinner table right away-
and root beer floats for dessert were oh so tasty in our cute new glasses!
After some play time, we settled in for a late night round of bingo. I don't think we've ever played Bingo at home and everyone enjoyed it.
By the way, there's a great free app called "Bingo Number Generator" (original, huh?) that was perfect for our cards, just tap and it calls out random letters and numbers.
So, thank you Paige! We had such fun with our goodies and the kids are already back to playing more Bingo today! I believe Paige has plans for another Vintage Swap in the future, so follow along with her for all of the fun!
