BEST OF THE NEST OCTOBER FEATURES

Leslie from Paper Daisy Designs DIY'd this awesome kitchen island cart to create an extra work surface and more storage space. A super functional and extra pretty piece...can't beat that!

Heather from Encouraged at Home recently completed this bright and girly colorful room for her daughter.  She made some dramatic changes without a lot of $$$.

Anne from Design Dreams by Anne has been creating lots of paintings, and shared a great way to frame out her canvases for around $1.  Almost free art, gotta love that!

Darrielle from D.D.'s Cottage and Design used lots of patience and elbow grease to make this formerly ugly dresser pretty and proud again.  I love the age and hints of the past that the distressing shows.

Finally, Vel from Life and Home at 2102 shared her makeover of her basement guest room.  That pretty, cozy bed is looking really good right now!  Vel has the most adorable brand new baby girl, and two big brothers that absolutely adore her!
