HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
I hope everyone is enjoying whatever you're doing to celebrate today! We're off to our hometown parade, then spending the afternoon at my parents' home with the family, and I'm sure we'll be ooohing and ahhhing over fireworks somewhere tonight!
Before I head out the door, I wanted to share the features from last week's Best of the Nest Party with you. You ladies were busy in June, and we had some great links! Be sure to check out the Best of the Nest Pinterest board for some other great features, as well as my fellow co-hosts for their picks.
Can you even believe how organized Mallory's jewelry is? Not to mention beautiful! I told her I was officially drooling over all of those Kendra Scott earrings. Check out Charming in Charlotte to see her DIY Jewelry Organizer.
Kim from Tidbits & Twine shared some recent updates to her living room. Aren't her new chairs gorgeous? Her cozy little nook is so inviting...perfect for a good book or chat with a friend!
Marty from A Stroll Thru Life addressed a good topic, when to be jump or when to pass on trendy home decor. You won't believe the before of this awesome gazelle that she found, and the crazy deal she got on it!
Apparently I'm hungry, because my last two features are food, and sweets at that! How yummy and festive would this cake have been at your Fourth of July celebration today? Angela at Call Her Blessed shows us how easy it is to make!
You'll have to click on the link to see the actual Whoopie Pie Ice Cream Sandwiches that Patty from Creative Ideas shared, but I couldn't resist showing you the darling way she packaged them. Who wouldn't want to pick up one of these at your next gathering?
On Instagram at #bestofthenestparty, @bkacker posted her newly recovered office chair. Way to get some work done in style!

Enjoy your holiday!
Oh wow, how exciting. Thanks for the feature and Happy 4th.!!!!!
ReplyDeletethat jewelry organization is awesome! all great projects- i tend to jump on the trends if it is something i truly love and have emotional attachment to. i lvoe brass animals because when i was a small child i had a brass giraffe someone had given my mom when i was a baby. i donated it years ago and now of course regret it, but my brass animals make me think of it sitting on my old pine hutch (which had been my father's furniture!)
