Hi everybody! First of all, thank you if you linked up to our first Best of the Nest party! As I write this, we've had somewhere around 80 fantastic projects linked up, but it's not too late if you'd like to include yours. The link party will be open until tomorrow night, and then my partners and I will be choosing some of our favorites to feature. Come join the party!
I won't even bother to tell you that we're snowed (iced/sleeted) in today and the kids are out of school again...I know so many of us are all in the same boat! So today, I'm rounding up the best projects from the past few months in case you missed something. Actually, I haven't done a review since November, so I'll include a few older ones too if I have some new readers that didn't see them.
In November, I went a little crazy with metal serving trays from Dollar Tree!
Metal Tray Wreath (& my Christmas Mantle),
Doesn't it seem like Christmas was just yesterday? Well, there are only 9 more months until it's time to Deck the Halls again!
January brought some "sprucing-up" projects-
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Easy Spotted Back Chairs, Using Ribbon for Photo Mats, A great help for grimy thrifted metal pieces- Bar Keeper's Friend
February-
Dresser Makeover (again!), Valentine's Pom Pom Garland,
and Filing Cabinet Nightstand Makeover
Finally, we wrapped up last week with two of my favorite posts-
DIY Fence Plank Wall, and I shared some tips on Cowhide Rugs.
I never feel like much has been accomplished until I take a look back for these reviews, but I guess we actually are getting some things done! Progress seems slow when you're right in the middle of it.
Great projects! I think you are right...it always helps to look back on what you have done to see all you have accomplished! Have a great week!
