It's been a little slow around the blog this week. It's been cold, I've HAD a cold, and motivation has been low! However, yesterday the wind was down and it was warm enough to spray paint and do some sanding, so I scurried around to get several things started. I was trying to get everything finished that needed to be done outside before our next round of winter weather starts tomorrow, so now I have 4 or 5 things to finish up inside. So, this weekend I have plenty to do to keep me busy!
(Don't hate me...I'm saying farewell to the peacock blue on the dresser...)
What are your weekend plans? Are your projects at a standstill? Hopefully I'll have at least one of these things ready to show you on Monday!
I can't leave you without a pretty photo for the day, so here you go!

Oh, I love the peacock blue! But I'm sure you'll come up with something equally fabulous. As for the cold and lack of motivation - welcome to my winter! I find when the kids have snow days or delays with school, my motivation drops commensurately. I'm looking forward to spring so I can throw open the windows and let in the fresh air!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! Looking forward to seeing all of your projects next week (especially the one you're using those gold tacks on!).
ReplyDeleteOh I can't believe you are painting the dresser! Can't wait to see what you do.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
lots of great things happening here! and i don't hate you- i remember you weren't sure about the peacock from the beginning- it doesn't feel as much of a jennifer color.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued! Lots of curiosity! xo Kristin

ReplyDeleteI have so many things going on right now, plus a drive to make to CT on Saturday for my nephew's 4th birthday and a Super Bowl party to host on Sunday. Ahhhh, not enough time in the day!!
ReplyDeleteI pinned the same photo on Pinterest and it says it is from www.desiretoinspire.net. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThe peacock blue is going?? :( Well, I'm sure you have something fab in mind but I loved it. I haven't felt well this past week and haven't accomplished anything except the necessities. I did make it to the grocery store today so that's a win! I haven't been able to spray paint due to the wind...very tired of it. Now we're going into another few days of winter stuff again.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better and enjoy your weekend! Will look forward to seeing new projects ~
