All of my blogger friends know the magic of Home Goods, but this post is for my friends in town. We finally got a Home Goods! The only way that I've been able to explain it to someone who hasn't been is that it's like the Home Section at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, times 1,000.
Even though our new store is on the complete opposite side of town, I made the trek over last week to check it out. I snapped a few
There are loads of beautiful mirrors-
A great furniture department-
The lamp selections are abundant (some of my favorite lamps are from HG!)-
Row after row of dishes, whatever color you want!-
A wide selection of kitchen gadgets and cookware-
Aisles and aisles of pillows (lots of good mongolian fur right now!)-
and aisles and aisles of baskets-
and a huge variety of accessories.
If you're a Home Goods shopper, what's been your favorite find? If you're not, make the drive to Norman and you'll be hooked!
I would be soooo happy if we got a Homegoods here. We have Marshalls and TJ's but Homegoods would be totally awesome!!! xo Kristin
ReplyDeletelucky for me the closest one is 30 minutes away.... keeps my wallet safe!
ReplyDeleteWe have one 5 minutes up the road (walking distance)...scary! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! Must go!! Now, if we could only get an IKEA we'd be set :)
ReplyDeleteGood thing it's across town!! I couldn't even begin to choose a favorite, but the mirror in my bathroom from the clearance rack comes to mind since that's my post today! :) HAPPY SHOPPING!!
ReplyDeleteThis post makes me want to jump in my car and head over to HG….which I am lucky enough to have within 10 minutes of my house…it's trouble!
ReplyDeleteYay! I feel like I should say Congratulations but that might be over the top... :-)
ReplyDeleteDang I'm jealous. We also only have Marshalls and TJMaxx!
ReplyDeleteJealous! Home Goods need a store in Des Moines.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were deprived of Home Goods until recently. My friend, I am sorry for you ;) But watch out - the goodness is like a siren song and it is hard to stay away. I have 3 or 4 of them within 15 minutes of me...trouble.
ReplyDeleteNice!! I moved away from the one that was 5 minutes from my house. Now I have to drive 30 minutes. My hubby is happy ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I did not know this!!! I'm looking them up now! So excited!
ReplyDeleteI would be soooo happy if the one near me, Southlake, looked half as good as yours! It's amazing how sad this store is,especially since it's located in such an affluent area. I would be dangerous in Norman! :)

P.S. I mentioned you in my latest post. :)
I am so jealous...we do not have a Home Goods here. :( The closest one is in St. Louis which is about 1.5-2 hours away. Luckily, we have family there so every time we head into town, I make my husband stop. Love that store with a capital L!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you! Homegoods is the best. We got one in Louisville last year. Before then- I had to rely on TJ Maxx so I know how you feel. You'll need to hold yourself back or else you may buy the entire store! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, you finally got your HomeGoods...I'm still waiting on my Hobby Lobby! :( Lol.
ReplyDeleteI loooove Home Goods. Glad YOUR world is now complete. Haha! :)
