I've been bitten by the blue and white bug! I know it's been around forever and is a timeless classic, but it hasn't been on my radar until recently. Now, blue and white pottery is my new favorite accessory!
In the past few weeks I picked up a few pieces at the thrift store, including this double flower pot
and I used this small cup to hold chalk for my new chalkboard calendar in the kitchen.
I tucked a tiny ivy in my grandfather's mug for the mantle.
Then, I totally scored when I found a large ginger jar and umbrella stand at Ross.
I dug out our walking sticks from trips to the mountains to put in the bamboo umbrella stand, and moved my umbrella to the new blue and white one. I need another cute umbrella or two now!
Ross also has several blue and white flower pot pieces right now.
Happy Thursday everyone! I'll be out for several days. My sister is getting married on Saturday and we are scurrying around getting everything ready. If you're a blog friend, that's why I haven't been around much this week...sorry, I'll catch up! I'm DYING to show photos to you guys, but I'm not going to steal her thunder. Let me just say it's going to be gooooooooood!!!! I've shared a few sneak peeks of projects we've been working on on Instagram, and will post a few more of the festivities over the weekend. And someday, after she's shared them herself, I'll let you see all of the beauty shots. Keep us in your prayers...and pray the rain away from OKC until Saturday night! :)
