NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS...

did I ever think this would ever happen!

But today, on news stands, is the September issue of Ladies' Home Journal.

And I'm in it!

Well, my mirror wall is!

I had a strong idea that this was coming, but was so surprised to get a message on Facebook this weekend from a friend saying "I thought someone had successfully copied your design until I saw it was YOUR design in the Ladies' Home Journal magazine. Congrats!!!"  For some reason I had it in my head that the photo would come out NEXT month...and even though I had been in contact with a super sweet Editor at the magazine, I hardly told anyone, and I wasn't believing it was really happening until I saw it in print with my own two eyes!

This feature is totally a testament to the power of Pinterest.  Several months ago I got an email from an editor with the subject "Your blog in Ladies Home Journal?" and about passed out.  Actually, at first I thought it must be a joke, but then realized that it was, in fact, the real deal!  She was researching a feature on interesting wall treatments and had come across a pin of my wall of mirrors.  Thanks Rachel!  

There are 5 bloggers' walls featured in the "Wonder Walls" segment, and let me tell you, the other 4 are fantastic ideas!  Still not quite sure how I ended up in this mix, but I'm thankful!

This weekend I didn't think it could get any better, after being featured on (my favorite!) the amazing Emily A. Clark's blog, and sweet Aimee's blog It's Overflowing.  And then, another surprise yesterday from guru-blogger Sarah at Thrifty Decor Chick who featured my blue dresser in her Before and After round-up.  Wow. 

God is blessing our family.  For whatever reason He's blessing this blog, and I'm grateful.  I know that every good gift comes from Him, and I want Him to be glorified in everything I do, create, and write.
