I never do a specific theme or color scheme for our family room tree...just whatever I like or what we've collected over the years.
One of my faves...fluffy fat red birds.
Sunday School crafts
This is a fantastic idea...a story-telling nativity glove. The kids' kindergarten Sunday School teacher made this for us. It's a black glove with animals on the thumb, Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus on the pointer, and the Wise Men on the 3 last fingers. Do you see their gifts they are bringing (oops, looks like we lost one!)? And the star that they followed is on the palm. Thanks Miss Stacie!
This Moses basket would never sell in a garage sale...and then I was glad! I use it under the tree for Baby Jesus' "manger" to help us remember that He is the real gift at Christmas.
Enjoy your weekend friends. I hope to finish my Christmas shopping! What are your plans?
I'm joining the Christmas Tree Link party at Honey We're Home and Thrifty Decor Chick.
Beautiful tree! I love the top!! And very cool to use the Moses basket underneath! I have one but it's baby blue! Hmmmm.....

ReplyDeleteThat topper is so clever--and beautiful. What a gorgeous way to add height. It certainly adds interest, too.
