CLASSIC PLAID FALL OR THANKSGIVING TABLESCAPE

Today I'm helping to wrap up the last day of the Set + Styled Thanksgiving Blog Hop hosted by Designthusiasm that's been going on all week. If you've arrived from Styled With Lace, thank you so much for coming! There have been so many impressive Fall entertaining and tablescape ideas already shared, this tour's a one stop shop for all of the holiday hosting inspiration you need!  Last year I used untraditional colors for Fall, but this year a classic plaid combo for my Fall/Thanksgiving tablescape was speaking to me.

I bought this tablecloth for Christmas last year, but there's nothing I love better for Fall than a great plaid! I decided to use it for a base, then layer in more Fall specific pieces for the season.

Turning leaves trimmed from the yard are the perfect centerpiece, free and festive! I combined it with some standing wheat bunches tied with a leopard ribbon. And I stand corrected... the only thing I love better for Fall than plaid is a plaid + leopard combo!

Simple bandanas serve as napkins, monogrammed with my trusty sewing machine to make them a bit more special.

What it takes to get the shot some times! ;)

I turned on the time lapse as I set the table, wish the process was this fast in real life!

I hope you enjoyed and were inspired by today's tour, here's a list of sources for my Dining Room and this Fall Plaid Tablescape if you'd like to create a similar one-

I'm the last stop on today's tour, but if you missed any homes you can start back at the beginning with Sarah from Life on Virginia Street's festive Pumpkin and Oak Leaf Thanksgiving table, and here's a complete list of all of the tours this week:

  5. Love it! Please consider doing a monogramming tutorial with your machine! I've thought I'd have to have a big fancy monogramming machine to get nice large letters like that!
