October is flying by, but I finally got my front porch all decorated for Fall. I reused several pieces from last year's fall porch decorations, but changed up the color scheme, adding in some hot pink and white with the orange for completely different look.

The hoop wreath that I shared with you yesterday suggests Fall while tying in the colors on the rest of the porch.
This cute little guy returned to the porch this year, he's from At Home last year.
I shared this gingham painted pumpkin on Instagram over the weekend, and everyone went crazy for it! Several people requested a tutorial, so tomorrow I'll be sharing a how-to and more design ideas for painted pumpkins.
After stumbling across 75% off shrubs at Home Depot last weekend, I loaded up on boxwoods and decided they could mix in with my porch decor before they get planted in the back yard beds. Rather than filling the metal tubs with large mums, I saved a little money by filling them with a few of the bushes and just tucking in a small pot of mums. The Kimberly Queen ferns are still going strong, so they stayed and add a nice background for the rest of the decorations.
So fun! I did my porch with traditional colors, mums, ornamental cabbage and kale, but this might be a fun change for next year :)
ReplyDeleteWhere are those metal bins from? Would love to add those to my outdoor decor!
Thank you Libbi! I still love the traditional colors too but this has been a fun change. The bins are from At Home. I bought them last year so I'm not sure if they still have them or not.
DeleteIt looks so cute Jennifer! Pink and orange is one of my favorite color combos! I LOVE those metal bins - so versatile!
