Today I am thrilled to welcome Cassie from Primitive and Proper. If you were to look up "superwoman" in the dictionary, I know there would be a big 'ol photo of this girl! I honestly think she could run circles around most of us. She has a thriving business restoring and painting furniture, co-runs a local barn sale, will take on any DIY project, exercises faithfully, and is an amazing Mom to two cuties! If you don't know Cassie, you're in for a treat!
Hello, Dimples & Tangles readers! I am so excited and honored to be here to share my favorite 5 blog posts of all time in the history of ever. Jennifer is one of the most stylish bloggers I know, so I have some big shoes to fill today. I've been blogging for over 5 years, although the first couple of years I had NO idea what I was even doing. (PLEASE don't look at any posts that date pre 2011, ok? Deal?) But the point is, I had many posts to choose from. :) I also wanted to mix it up a little with some style, some DIY, and a little about me. Here goes, and in no particular order....
This tutorial was probably the most elaborate and detailed I have ever written, which was an achievement for this girl who doesn't care for writing the steps down, or photographing them along the way. (Pats self on back). And the result made such a unique statement in my kitchen that it was so worth all of the intense labor, and documenting of said labor.
So many of my readers wanted to know more about my husband. I share tons about my life and my kids, but apparently not enough about Chris; so he humored me and let me interview him. It was so much fun for me to write and hear your comments!
This space just screams fun and was so much fun to create for my daughter. It's so different from any other spaces in our home because it's Emmy's very own style completely reflected.
This post is the least related to my blog, but I had such an amazing time participating in this relay. It taught me more self discipline than I've ever had, and also showed me that when I push my limits I exceed even my own expectations. That's a lesson that can be applied to all aspects of life, including DIY and design. Oh, and did I mention we have a DIY bloggers' team for next year, and there happens to be one spot left on it..... it could be yours! Email me at cassie8978@gmail.com if you are interested!
Jennifer, thank you so much for letting me share my 5 favorite posts with your readers today! Hope some of you will hop over and visit me at Primitive & Proper! Thank you!
See, I told you! Some of my favorite projects of Cassie's didn't make her list. This dresser makeover is my all time favorite... no surprise there! Finally, you simply must see her stunning, moody dining room. It's just so, so good!
