SPARKLY POM POM VALENTINE GARLAND


We're a week away from the day of loooovvvvve.  Are you ready?  I normally don't do much for Valentine's decor around here, but I was feeling crafty and festive this week!  

During a quick stop at Michaels, I grabbed a few sheets of glittery scrapbook paper and some pink yarn (I already had the red).  After using a pom pom garland at Christmas, I knew I wanted more!

I took my paper with me to church Wednesday night and used the die-cutter for my shapes and Xs and Os.  So easy!

We have the keys to our hearts...

and my daughter asked why there would be a dog on a Valentine decoration.  Well my dear, the little Scottie was too cute NOT to use!  He's pink and sparkly, so I'd say he fits right in.

I think this one nod to the day is just enough.  If you're snowed in this weekend, you can make one too!

    I don't do much Valentines either, but adore crafting. Love your simple Pompom garland Jennifer! I'm currently busy dressing up dolls for a school fund-raising, so that is taking care of my "crafting itch"! Have a great weekend!

    That's so fun Jennifer! I have a little box of Valentine decor we've made over the years including a heart garland. Maybe we should get the glitter out and give it new life! Seeing as we are getting another snowstorm, I'll have to stock up. Thanks for the idea!
